North Central Chapter

Hello All my NCC Friends and Family,
We have had one of the hottest summers on record and it is just beginning. You know we usually have 3 spring and 3 fall shows, well with our shows either getting rained out (would tickle me right now) or not filling, we have only had one schooling show so far this year. NOW, with that said I would like to have and am planning as I write this to have two double back shows in Sept and Oct. or Oct. and Nov. of course depending on our weather. It still maybe hotter than blazes in Sept and we go into Oct. and Nov.. I know each and everyone of our members, and I beleive that NONE of us are really wanting to test our abilities in this hot weather. So if it alright with you all we will begin getting our judges ready for the fall season. THAT MEANS YOU will have to start riding in the evenings and early mornings to get YOU ready. Funny isn't it we always say "It's too hot to ride" but you know that poor horse isn't in the air-conditioning he isn't too hot to be outside. My friends I am just as bad. I do NOT want to ride when it is 100 degrees out.
So with all of this in mine how about posting to this page and letting me know how you would feel about the 2fer shows we are thinking about doing.
What they are is this: we will hire 2 judges for the day. One will judge classes in the morning the other classes in the afternoon. You haul once
ride with 2 judges get 2 sets of scores. Only have to clean up and clip your horse one time. I though that it sounded like a GREAT idea to me.
OH and it means that either myself or Kim will only need to get the arena's ready once for 2 shows.
So please post your thoughts to this and lets get going again. Ziggy boy is ready willing and able to show now, but I am not. I am working out again and trying to get fit enough to stay ontop of him.... LOL.
